Candler Church is a nonprofit Christian ministry with a deep legacy of faith, healing, and community service. Originally founded as Candler House of Prayer in 1974, the church began in a humble log cabin with a small group of believers led by Pastor Bob Jackson. Over the decades, Candler Church has grown through resilience, spiritual renewal, and miraculous events—including healings and testimonies that have shaped our identity.
At Candler Church, we are dedicated to helping individuals who have just committed or rededicated their lives to the Lord grow into fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe that spiritual transformation begins with intentional support, prayer, encouragement, and guidance rooted in God’s Word.
Our mission extends beyond the walls of the church—we are committed to driving meaningful change in our local community and around the world. By rebuilding lives and transforming cities through the power of Jesus Christ, we strive to be a light in a dark world, offering hope, healing, and purpose to all who seek Him.
In 2018, under the leadership of Pastor Malcolm McCarson, the church officially became Candler Church, embracing a new name while continuing the same Spirit-led purpose that has defined us for generations.
